This is a second year algebra course designed for students who have completed one year of algebra and one year of geometry in the mathematics sequence. Algebra 3-4 is a continuation of the study of algebra (polynomials), the introduction of rational expressions, transcendental expressions, conics, and topics of discrete mathematics (counting principles). Much of the material can be found on PSAT, SAT, and ACT exams. This course is very similar to a Collage Algebra course found at many colleges and universities.
